about CIC - Canadian International College

In 2004, after much hard work, CIC opened the Cairo campus of Cape Breton University with more than 250 students & 2 schools: Business & Engineering Technology. By 2005, our student development office was born, as our approach was always modern & practical learning. We activated our cooperative agreement with more than 40 companies to help our students get experience in their fields. We expanded again in 2008 with the School of Mass Communication. A couple of years later, we took our approach & success to Sheikh Zayed, where we built our second campus in 2012. Since we started this journey our aim was not only offering academic degrees, but the whole college experience. We want our students to get the best out of their time, develop their skills, acquire the knowledge needed & apply those experiences in real life. OUR CANADIAN PARTNERS Cape Breton University (CBU) has over more than 70 different student’s nationalities and strong international partnerships all over the globe. CBU promises and delivers an exceptional educational experience for students. CBU students and graduates are recognized nationally and internationally for their innovative accomplishments. The first Canadian university to offer a joint degree in Egypt, CBU in partnership with CIC, gives students the opportunity to obtain undergraduate degrees in business and engineering CIC offers multiple programs that will provide you with the broad knowledge, skills needed & hands-on experience that will guide you in your life after graduation, helping you succeed in your career. SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING Our Engineering school will provide you with a broad knowledge of all majors of the field, as well as specialized training in your discipline. By collaborating with faculty and students in research and design projects both within and alongside the formal curriculum, you will learn how to put theory into practice. Our program will provide you not only with the technical skills necessary to practice your profession, but also with a vision and perspective that will guide you throughout your life and career. SCHOOL OF MASS COMMUNICATION As you study Mass Communication and media, you will be exposed to a variety of media and communication courses and experiences that will provide you with the skills needed to work in the field. Throughout this program, you’ll develop an understanding of the relationship between mass media and society. Drawing on other disciplines such as political science and cultural studies, you’ll be introduced to some of the key approaches to analyze the media-society relationship and how media can influence society. SCHOOL OF BUSINESS Our course provides a range of specializations that will enhance your management & leadership skills, and gives you a thorough insight about the organizational hierarchy, how they all serve each other, and how they help achieve the organization’s mission and goals. Having an overview of Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Accounting, and Finance, will help you in choosing your concentration at your third year. By studying any of the following majors, you will gain knowledge about all business units and understand how they function altogether. Mission The Higher Institute for Engineering Technology & Business Administration is committed to offer exceptional academic environment that helps students to gain the knowledge, the skills, and the professional ethics to compete locally, and in a partnership with the Canadian universities to qualify graduates to work regionally and internationally.
