Arab Open University (AOU), Egypt Branch is a non-profit institution dedicated to building expertise according to international quality standards.
The Arab Open University (AOU) was founded in 2002 under the patronage of the President of the Arab Gulf Programme for United Nations Development (AGFUND), HRH Prince TalalBin Abdulaziz.
The University prides itself about an extensive and unique existence in the Middle East to serve a wider range of students. It has eight branches in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan, with its Headquarters being located in Kuwait. Currently the total number of students in the seven branches is more than 28,000.
The University has proved its status as a pioneer University in Blended Learning. It is dedicated to offer a flexible mode of learning to qualified students and an opportunity for life-long continuing education.
One of the University’s objectives is to provide higher education and equal opportunities for those deprived from them regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, and economic or social background.
