At Gateway International Montessori School, outdoor learning flows between indoors and outdoors spaces which gives the child an essence of freedom and independence. The outdoor and indoor areas complement the child’s learning environment and makes the most efficient use of resources to build on the child’s interest.
Nutrition is important for the brain as well as the body. . We provide an adequate, healthy and nutritious food which are essential for children’s current and future well-being. We believe that staff should provide children with positive role model and attitude towards healthy eating habits. These are put into practice on a daily basis at meal times as well as being promoted as part of our general curriculum activities, for example, when covering themes such as ‘Food’, ‘All About Me’ and ‘My Family’, ‘Healthy Eating’, ‘Healthy Living’.
